The curvilinear structure of this endearing pet house was derived from the form of a pebble, a natural shape whose sinuosity is both aesthetically elegant and mathematically compelling. While the exact form of a pebble can vary clearly from stone to stone, the curvature distribution within any given pebble forms a consistent graphical pattern; a phenomenon which transcends geographic locales. This type of process-driven form is particularly relevant as inspiration in the creation of a 3D modeled and milled object; one whose form is uniquely enabled by the distinctive technical processes of its creation. The softness of the shape facilitates its purpose as an animal inhabitance, which both conceals and unveils a pet within its comforting void.
